VOCAL ANATOMY & PEDAGOGY - (Ages 8-13) - LEVEL TWO
Level Two Vocal Pedagogy & Anatomy
Take your vocal training to the next level with Miss Emily in this advanced four-week masterclass. Building upon the concepts introduced in Level One, this course offers a deeper exploration of vocal anatomy, healthy technique, and artistic performance. Students will gain a more comprehensive understanding of how the voice functions while developing greater consistency, flexibility, and confidence in their singing.
Drawing from the principles of Estill Voice Training®, Complete Vocal Technique (CVT), Speech Level Singing (SLS), and Cabaret: Story Through Song, students will refine their technique through both group instruction and individualized coaching.
Students will explore:
An in-depth study of all Level One concepts
Advanced Vocal Conditions and Qualities
Personalized Vocal Masterclasses
Introduction to "Magic Words" and their application in vocal technique
Diction strategies and articulation techniques for clearer, more expressive singing
"Twang Farm" exercises to develop healthy resonance, projection, and vocal efficiency
Advanced vocalises and warm-ups
Individualized vocal coaching and performance feedback
Continued storytelling and artistic interpretation through song
Throughout the course, students will receive personalized coaching and targeted exercises designed to address their unique vocal goals. Instruction is tailored to each singer, allowing students to strengthen their individual technique while continuing to build healthy, sustainable vocal habits.
Class Details
Prerequisite: Completion of Level One Vocal Pedagogy & Anatomy (or instructor approval)
Duration: 4 weeks
Schedule: 2-hour class each week (8 instructional hours total)
Attendance Options: In-person or live via Zoom
Students who are unable to attend in person are welcome to participate virtually. The class is designed so that both in-person and online students receive the same high-quality instruction and individualized feedback.
